So im here right now and i have a 12pm appointment for my passport. You cannot apply for a passport at this office without an appoint. I arrived on time and was told i had to wait. There is no seating area at all available and ive been standing here waiting twenty full minutes.. Unacceptable. I have a leg injury and this is miserable.. If appointments arent going to be on time then they should have seating arrangements.
South Orange post office must be the most incompetent post office in the state. They delivered our hold-mail to someone else and delivered someone else's to us. They got the dates wrong for 3 different hold-mail request periods. They deliver other peoples' mail to our house regularly, they deliver sopping wet mail when it rains, they don't even bother delivering on some days. The lines at the window are always long and slow moving.
The carrier decided not to put my media mail through my slot, in the pouring rain, which was more than wide enough for the book to go through. Instead he/she left it on the porch. Needless to say it got ruined. All because a lazy postal worker did not feel like doing his/her job!
On a weekly basis ever since they took Helen off our route our mail ends up at every other house on our street. The most unprofessional people work at this post office besides Helen of course. How is it possible to put other mail at different addresses? It should be illegal especially when it's sensitive important mail getting delivered to the wrong people. Get your sh*t together! It's simple...look at the address and deliver to the correct address....simple.
Wasn't any worse than East Orange....I received great service at this location
